Q. Is there a different screen charge for a multi-color design?
A. Yes! Each color requires a different screen.

Q. Can I print a 1 color design on a dark (black) shirt if the ink color is red?
A. Yes! But to make it a true red, we must make this a 2 color imprint and underbase the red with white and charge it as a 2 color design (2 screen fees). Otherwise the red will look maroon on a black shirt.

Q. Is there a digitizing fee to set-up a hat to get embroidered?
A. No & Yes! If the hat that you want embroidered comes froma list of fonts that we have, then there is NO set-up fee. But if you have a custom logo that requires us to digitize it, then YES, there is a fee.

Q. I had RomanArt digitize my logo for my company Polo shirts, can we take that current logo on file and embroider the logo large on a jacket back?
A. No! If you want to embroider this same logo large, there will a separate digitizing fee. When a logo is digitized, the cost is based on size and stitch count, and since you are blowing up the logo anywhere from 400% to 1000% larger, then we have to program the embroidery machine to account for all of these stitches. This takes time, effort and skill and a separate fee will be applied.

Q. What is the price difference to digitize a small logo compared to a jacket back logo?
A. Small logo's range from $50 to $100, Full Back logo's range from $200 to $350.

Q. Once I pay RomanArt to digitize my logo, can I have a copy of the file?
A. Yes! The digitizing fee means you own it. If you move to another part of the country and wish to have a local embroidery shop do your work, we can give it to you on a disc or email it to you.

Q. Will RomanArt embroider apparel that I have already purchased from a retail store?
A. Yes! We can embroider most anything you bring us, 1 hat, or a couple hundred polos. Or you can order your apparel direct from us, your choice.

Q. Will RomanArt screenprint tees that I already have?
A. No! Sorry, we will not print apparel provided by customers, we are not set up as contract printers.

Q. I need 1 t-shirt printed, can you do this?
A. No! The minimum order is 12 pieces per design.

Q. I have a leather jacket that needs lettering, can you do this?
A. No! Due to the thickness of the leather and the expense of the garment, we can not be held responsible for any mistakes that might happen, so we do not take on any leather work, plus it is very hard on our equipment. Sorry.
